SYRACUSE – Waddington-based rock and pop band The Acoustic Brothers will be playing the New York State Fair Sept. 1 for two shows.
The Madrid-Waddington High School students will take the Special Events Stage located behind the International & Horticulture Buildings in the new Adventure Zone from 4 to 4:45 p.m. and from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.
The band is made up of Alex Hammond, lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Jacob Barney, bass guitar; Jeff Mott, drums; and Austin Scott, lead guitar.
They specialize in music from the 50s, 60s and 70s, with a love for the British Invasion.
Recently, they've been writing and performing their own songs.
