WADDINGTON – Residents, business owners and other stakeholders are being asked for their input on economic development strategies for the future.
A survey is also being conducted as part of the research. To take the survey online, visit www.WaddingtonNY.com and click on the survey link. Hard copies are also available at the town hall.
A “Public Visioning Workshop” will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 in the Hepburn Library community room.
The workshop will begin with a discussion of the future of Waddington and then focus on identifying preferred future uses of town-owned properties and other key strategic sites. Participants will be guided through an exercise designed to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of possible uses for those sites.
The results of the workshop will be summarized to illustrate the vision for future land use and will become part of Waddington’s Strategic Plan.
Middle- and high school;-aged children are also invited.
