St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s detectives say they have arrested two more people in connection with a recent large-scale drug sweep authorities have called “Operation 315.”
Daniel M. Rice, 35, of 68 Benson Mines Golf Course Road, Star Lake is charged with fourth-degree conspiracy, and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, and misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Paul J. Goodwin, 33, of 660 East 242nd St., Bronx is charged with second-degree conspiracy and first-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, both
felonies. He is alleged to have supplied St. Lawrence County residents with narcotics for re-sale, police said.
Rice was arraigned in in St. Lawrence County Court Monday afternoon and ordered held without bail. He will re-appear at a later date, police said.
Thirty-two people have been arrested as part of the investigation and one remains at large, according to the sheriff’s office.
