MASSENA -- Two teenagers are facing felonies for felony charges for allegedly breaking into a home and stealing things.
The pair of 16-year-old males from Massena are each charged with second-degree burglary, felony, and single misdemeanor counts of petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief, police said.
According to documents filed with Massena Village Court, the pair on Tuesday around 2:45 p.m. kicked in the door and broke into 32 Water St. Apt. 11. They allegedly stole a safe, clothes, a cell phone, Xbox games and “a variety of other items,” the documents say.
They were charged with criminal mischief for damage they caused to the door, according to court documents.
The teens were charged at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday on Water Street, police said.
They were arraigned in Massena Village Court by Justice Eric Gustafson and released under supervision of the Probation Department, pending a future appearance, police said.
