HEUVELTON -- State police report two people were hurt in an accident on State Rt. 812.
Troopers, Heuvelton Fire and Rescue, and Ogdensburg Rescue were called to the accident scene near the village of Heuvelton.
Police say Linda A. Murdock, 71, of Ogdensburg, had been parked on the shoulder of the road and tried to make a U-turn when her 2005 Buick was hit on the driver's side by a 1994 Ford dump truck driven by Jeffrey M. Crobar, 47, of Heuvelton.
Murdock and her 15-year-old passenger were taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for what state police called non-life-threatening injuries. Murdock's passenger was treated and released.
