CANTON -- Village police say two people are jailed for allegedly possessing a stolen credit card, among other theft-related charges.
On Thursday, March 22, police charged Amanda E. Haggerty and Cory S. Chambers, both 27 of Canton, with felony counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: credit card. They are also charged with misdemeanors, two counts of petit larceny and single counts of fifth-degree conspiracy, police said.
They were each arraigned by Canton judge Michael Morgan and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond, police said.
