MADRID – Two unnamed 15-year-olds, a boy and a girl from DeKalb, have been charged with vandalism at Madrid-Waddington Central School.
State police say they received a call from the school shortly before 9 a.m. Sept. 28. Troopers went and interviewed Superintendent Lyn Roy.
The following afternoon, troopers sought out two DeKalb residents, one from Ritchie Road and one from Green Street, and charged them with three misdemeanors each, third-degree criminal trespass: school, criminal mischief: intent to damage property, and third-degree criminal tampering.
The two were issued appearance tickets.
