NORWOOD — A Norwood resident was reportedly trapped in the upstairs of a home after a tree fell on a house in the village Sunday night during a wind storm that hit St. Lawrence County.
The Norwood Fire Department responded and discovered a pine tree on the residence blocking the upstairs tenants exit, according to Norwood Volunteer Fire Department Captain Harold Loomis Jr.
The tree was removed by the fire department and the homeowner, Loomis said.
Loomis did not provide the address or name of the homeowner or occupants.
No injuries were reported.
