FORT DRUM – Drivers headed toward Fort Drum along U.S. Rt. 11 might run into delays beginning this week as the state Department of Transportation begins work on the Fort Drum Connector Project.
Work will begin in the area of the Iraqi Freedom Drive and Rt. 11 and will continue through the remainder of the summer.
DOT says motorists should expect to encounter construction crews along Rt. 11 near Fort Drum and should expect traffic delays and changing traffic patterns due to construction activities.
