Three Massena teens allegedly beat up 15-year-old in Massena, steal $250; charged with robbery

MASSENA -- A 15-year-old male was struck several times and robbed by three males behind the St. Lawrence Centre Mall, State Highway 37, Jan 9, according to state police.

Troopers said they received a report of a strong armed robbery that occurred around 8:40 p.m.

The victim was reportedly approached by three males who hit him multiple times and stole $250 from his pocket and then fled the scene.

The victim was treated at Massena Memorial Hospital and released, officers said.

Following an investigation, police charged three Massena teens with robbery.

Jacob S. Lazore, 17 was charged with second-degree robbery: cause physical injury and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

He was arraigned by Massena Town Justice James Crandall and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $7,5000 bail or $15,000 bond, troopers said. He is to appear in court Jan. 12 at 10:30 a.m. to face the charges.

"Lo Lo" Rorohonhakie, 17, Rorohonhakies was reportedly charged with second-degree robbery: cause physical injury and endangering the welfare of a child and arraigned in by Town Justice Gerald Sharlow and released under the supervision of probation. He is to face the charges in court Jan. 21 at 5 p.m.

A 15-year-old male was also charged with second-degree robbery, police said. He was issued a family court appearance ticket and turned over to his mother, officers said. He is to appear in St. Lawrence County family court on a date yet to be determined.

The three arrests complete the investigation into the incident and no additional suspects are being sought, according to state police.
