Three accidents in Village of Potsdam Monday result in charges for motorists
POTSDAM — Potsdam police said they charged three motorists following multiple property-damage accidents on Monday in the village.
• Amanda Karam, 26, Valley Cottage, 26, was cited for speed not reasonable or prudent on Leroy Street at 8:47 a.m. The charge came following an investigation of an accident at the intersection of Leroy and Clinton streets. No injuries were reported.• Phillip J. Charleson, 63, Potsdam, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while entering the roadway at 11:35 a.m. on Country Lane. He was charged following a two vehicle property-damage accident. No further details were provided.
• Margaret M. Sherman, 56, Potsdam, was cited for following too closely on Clarkson Avenue at 3:35 p.m. following a two vehicle property-damage accident.
All three subjects were cited and released.
