CANTON -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff deputies have charged a 17-year-old county jail inmate with a felony for allegedly assaulting a corrections officer.
Blakely Houle was charged Thursday with second-degree assault, felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
On Wednesday, Houle allegedly assaulted a St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility CO and broke his glasses, deputies said.
Houle was arraigned in Canton Town Court and remanded to the county lockup in lieu of $500 bail with orders to re-appear on a later date.
