CANTON -- TAUNY is extending an invitation to area knitters to show off examples of their 2014 work in a January exhibit at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.
Sponsored by the TAUNY Tuesday Knitting Group, led by Canton resident Jody Horwitz, the display is an opportunity for knitters to share project successes.
There are no specific requirements for style, color, or theme. Knitters can submit one or two pieces of their own choosing, along with a few sentences explaining the project.
The exhibit is a showcase of what regional knitters have been interested in working on for the past year, whether it be small ornamental items, garments, or art pieces.
Knitters are also welcome to create something just for the display.
Organizers are particularly interested in work made from original patterns or work in which the maker made adjustments to published patterns.
All skill levels welcome. Info: 386-4289 or programs@tauny.org.
