GOUVERNEUR – A 19-year-old student has been charged with felony assault after allegedly stabbing another student with a pen on a Gouverneur school bus Wednesday.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Frankie L. Shatraw, U.S. Rt. 11, Gouverneur, on Thursday after investigating the alleged stabbing of a 14-year-old numerous times with a pen, causing injury.
Shatraw has been charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Shatraw was arraigned before Gouverneur Justice Stanley Young and was released to probation authorities.
