WEST STOCKHOLM -- Livingston Stables, located just outside of Potsdam in West Stockholm, hopes to earn a $250,000 grant with help from online voters.
The grant is sponsored by Chase and LivingSocial. The organizations are offering 12 grants to small businesses across America.
Livingston Stables hopes to secure the grant to build an indoor arena and establish several programs that Jennifer Snell-Bruno of Livingston Farms said would be a boon to the community.
Some of the programs include a horse summer camp for kids, a children’s literacy program and working with local counselors to incorporate horses into their therapy sessions.
To help Livingston Stables qualify for the grant visit www.missionsmallbusiness.com and click “Support." You can vote for the business by entering Livingston Stables in the business name field. You must have a Facebook account, and are encouraged to share your support on your wall.
Voting ends June 30.
