BANGOR -- State police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found early Monday morning.
Troopers say they responded around 5:30 a.m. to a report of a subject found deceased on Baker Road in the Town of Bangor.
The body has been removed to the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake pending an autopsy, troopers said.
Investigators are asking anyone who has information or traveled on Baker Road between noon on Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday to call New York State Police at (518) 563-3761.
