LOUISVILLE – Three Syracuse-area residents have been charged with having more than 30,000 unstamped cigarettes.
John M. McGrath, 61, Syracuse, Antonio McLaughlin, 48, Liverpoool, and Yvette R. Gibson, 36, Syracuse, were stopped by state police along St. Rt. 37 in the town of Louisville Tuesday morning, and found to be in possession of at least 30,000 cigarettes without tax stamps, according to troopers.
They each were charged with the felony of possession/transportation of 30K+ unstamped cigarettes.
Their status was reported as “held.”
