The New York State Department of Transportation has announced a $1.3 million project to install special pavement markings, including crosswalk markings, STOP bars and legends, across the North Country.
The markings will provide extra durability and longevity to enhance driver and pedestrian safety on state highways across the region, DOT says in a press release.
The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2018.
