CANTON -- A set of publication materials produced by the St. Lawrence University Communications Department has won several design and production awards, including the top spot for its admissions materials.
The recognition came from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District II Accolades Awards program, which recognizes and honors exceptional service and work from members in its regional district.
“Our team works hard to represent the St. Lawrence University brand in every communication we produce,” said Melissa Farmer Richards, vice president for communications. “We’re honored to be recognized with these awards voted on by our colleagues at other higher education institutions in our region.”
The St. Lawrence communications team received the Gold Award from CASE District II for its “Admission Visit Day Banners” in the Student Recruitment Individual Print Pieces: Posters category.
In addition to receiving the top award, University Communications also received three Silver Awards. The accolades were awarded for its annual calendar, titled “The Artful Calendar,” in the Promotional Items/Calendars category; for the “St. Lawrence University Athletics Viewbook” in the Student Recruitment Individual Print Pieces: Viewbooks & Prospectuses category; and for the “St. Lawrence University 15-16 Viewbook and Travel Piece Package” in the Student Recruitment: Packages category, one of the most competitive and comprehensive categories in the CASE District II Accolades Awards.
