New York State has announced $262 million in BRIDGE NY initiative projects, including about $9.5 million for work in St. Lawrence County.
The release named several projects in St. Lawrence County:
• $2.858 million for County Road 24 over the Raquette River
• $4.721 million for South Shore Road over the Oswegatchie River
• $577,000 for St. Lawrence county Route 17 over unnamed drainage
• $485,000 for St. Lawrence county Route 17 over unnamed intermittent stream
• $833,000 for St. Lawrence county Route 17 over Gibbons Brook
The work will “focus on projects that address deteriorated structural conditions, mitigate weight restrictions or long detours, facilitate economic development or increase competitiveness, or reduce the risk of flooding,” the governor’s office said.
