OSWEGATCHIE — The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of 13 long guns that were stolen from a residence on Stone Church Road between April 10-13.
Items stolen allegedly include an Ithaca model 37 12 gauge shotgun, Browning double barrel 12 gauge shotgun, Browning 30.06 automatic Safari, Remington 870 Wingmaster TB 12 gauge, Remington 870, 12 gauge slug barrel, Browning 30.06 pump rifle, Ithaca 12 gauge side by side 28" barrel, Browning 10 gauge pump shotgun, Traditions black powder rifle .54 caliber, 7mm mag., 30.06, and cartridges.
Also taken was a green browning soft gun case, Lincoln mig welder, and a DeWalt 18v cordless sawzall hammer drill kit.
The homeowner is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the theft, deputies said.
