CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County League of Women Voters recently donated 16,000 “I Voted” stickers to the SLC Board of Elections to hand out to voters on Election Day as part of its 2016 voter education program.

“The local League of Women Voters is committed to helping to promote voting and recognizing the good citizenship of St. Lawrence County voters on Election Day. These stickers are a visible reminder to get out and vote," said League President Kathleen Stein.

The St. Lawrence County League is a nonpartisan political organization open to women and men that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
