CANTON — The 54th annual Dairy Princess Pageant will be held Sunday, April 29, at Madrid Community Building.
Light refreshments and ‘’Cowtails’’ will be served at 2 p.m. followed by the pageant. Reservations are not required. Admission is $5 per person.
The St. Lawrence County Dairy Promotion Committee invites all members of the community to attend, especially farmers.
Contestants running this year are: Maureen Pierce, Heuvelton, daughter of Kelvin and Carolyn Pierce, sponsored by Ranch Veterinarians; and Chloe Renaud, daughter of Brooke Bush and Derek Renaud sponsored by Scotch Acre Farm.
The Dairy Princess Program promotes and educates the public on the dairy industry, dairy products, and supports dairy farmers. More info is available at the St. Lawrence County Dairy Promotion FaceBook page.
Look for the new princess and ther court at the Canton Dairy Princess Parade Saturday, June 2, at 1 p.m.
