WADDINGTON -- Outdoor and sporting goods vendors, local hunting and fishing clubs, biking, hiking, boating or recreational vehicle groups, wine and food vendors can sign up now for the biggest showcase of all things related to the great outdoors of St. Lawrence County.
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will hold its first-ever Woods, Water, and Wilderness Show Sept. 23 and 24 at the Waddington Arena. The show has been planned in conjunction with the 2011 Carp Angling World Championship, hosted by the Chamber, that will bring anglers from all over the world to the shores of the St. Lawrence River.
World Championship activities, including the peg draw, will be taking place concurrently with the WWW Show in the Arena.
The show will also feature celebrity sportspeople, including the “father of modern bass fishing” Ray Scott who will be in Waddington for the carp contest.
