POTSDAM -- Nearly 60 pieces of donated artwork sold during St. Lawrence County Arts Council’s “Art for Animals” exhibit raised over $300 for the Potsdam Humane Society.
The exhibit was held in October at the Potsdam Town Hall.
Pieces of artwork from the "Art for Animals" exhibit which are still available for purchasing may be found at www.slcartscouncil.org. The arts council will donate 70 percent of proceeds from the sale of these pieces to the humane society.
The council will host an "Art for Animals" benefit next year from Dec. 2, 2016 through Jan. 13, 2017.
