POTSDAM – This fall, the St. Lawrence County Arts Council is conducting a membership drive across the North Country region.
Over 900 membership invitation packages have been mailed out to encourage individuals and families, artists or not, to join the organization.
Members are part of the largest network of artists, cultural organizations, and arts supporters in Northern New York.
The council works to build all areas of the arts in our region, facilitate arts education, and provide professional support and economic opportunities for artists. Members receive a quarterly newsletter and other special mailings throughout the year.
Membership benefits also include a 5% discount on all purchases in the council gallery and gift shop and on any of the classes offered by the council throughout the year.
Membership fees are on a sliding scale starting at just $15 a year. To become a member of the SLC Arts Council, fill out a membership form at www.slcartscouncil.org or request a membership invitation package by calling 265-6860.
