MASSENA -- On Super Bowl Sunday, St. John’s Episcopal Church, Massena, held their 20th annual “Souper Bowl of Caring” event. On this Sunday, parishioners are asked to donate money as they go to the parish hall after services to enjoy soup, sandwiches, and cake.
All monies donated will be divided evenly between the food pantries at the Massena Neighborhood Center and St. Vincent de Paul.
This past Sunday, $900 was collected. The two organizations will each receive $450.
