A low pressure system will bring light to moderate snow, warmer temperatures, and increased clouds to St. Lawrence County today through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Once the system departs, a noticeable warming trend will kick off going into the weekend, forecasters say. There will be chances for some light precipitation during this timeframe as some weak upper disturbances move through.
There is a 50 percent chance of snow today with a high near 24 degrees, forecasters say. Less than half an inch of accumulation is expected.
Overnight the low will be around 13 with a half inch of snow possible, the service says.
Highs in the 40s are expected for the weekend and early next week across the North Country, NWS says.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. Southwest wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
