ST. REGIS FALLS – Six Brasher-area residents were arrested and jailed on first degree burglary charges Saturday for allegedly breaking into a private residence on South Main Street, according to state police.
The home invasion incurred at about 6:45 p.m. Feb. 29, police said.
Arrested were:
• Johnathan R. Barto, 17, Brasher, who was arraigned in Waverly Town Court before Town Justice Hal Fraser and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
• Adam J. Baublitz, 23, and Kassy-Lynn Marcoux-Baublitz, 24, Brasher, arraigned before Justice Fraser and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
• Christopher J. Randall, 16, Moira, arraigned before Justice Fraser and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
• Jon-Alec N. Connell, 18, Brasher, arraigned before Justice Fraser and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 bail.
• A 15-year-old female from North Lawrence, who was issued a Family Court Appearance Ticket.
Police said the investigation is continuing and the Franklin County District Attorney's Office is participating.
