As lawmakers prepare to head back to the Capitol in Albany for the upcoming legislative session, state Sen. Patty Ritchie is inviting her constituents to help her with their opinions on issues facing New York State.
Ritchie, a Heuvelton Republican, represents the western half of St. Lawrence County including Ogdensburg, Canton and Gouverneur.
At her website, www.ritchie.nysenate.gov, a survey asks individuals to tell her what they think of major topics including government spending, Common Core, agriculture, college tuition, job creation and more.
Those without access to a computer can call Ritchie’s Watertown office at 782-3418 to have a survey mailed to them.
“As state senator, it’s my top priority to make the voices of my constituents heard and to represent their views in Albany,” said Ritchie.
