

Second Massena man charged after woman was allegedly shot in face with pellet gun in Brasher

MASSENA — A second man has been charged in connection with shooting a female with a pellet gun on Aug. 6, according to state police.
Alex M. Danboise, 27, was charged with assault, felony, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony, at 12:51 p.m. on Francis St., police said.He was ordered held, troopers said.
Jordan R. Wheeler, 23, was previously charged with third-degree assault related to the incident that allegedly took place Aug. 6, around 2 p.m.
Troopers responded to a residence on County Route 53 in the town of Brasher for a report of a female victim assaulted with a pellet gun.
State police were assisted by the Massena Police Department.
The victim was treated at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital for her injuries.
