CANTON -- A second man has been charged in burglary that occurred May 21 at a barn located on the Old Dekalb Road.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies charged Lloyd H. Coffey, 50, of Lisbon, with third-degree burglary and peitit larceny Thursday.
Deputies say Coffey was connected to the theft of bottles from a barn in Canton. Coffey was arraigned in Canton court and released on probation supervision.
Coffey was the second man charged in the theft.
Shaun M. Smith, 33, also of Lisbon, was charged Wednesday with third-degree burglary and petit larceny for the same incident.
Smith was held at St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to answer the charges at a later date.
