Students from St. Lawrence County pursuing an advanced degree in environmental studies or music have a new scholarship opportunity thanks to a partnership between the Northern New York Community Foundation (NNYCF) and the Vici and Steve Diehl Foundation.
The scholarship supports tuition costs for students accepted to or enrolled in an environmental studies or music graduate degree program.
The Diehls are lifelong supporters of environmental concerns and share a lifelong passion for music, according to the announcement from NNYCF.
The Diehls both hold photography-related degrees from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The scholarship will be awarded to students from St. Lawrence, Jefferson or Lewis county.
