OGDENSBURG -- RiverLedge Campus is now offering an “assistance of respite” program for long-term caregivers.
A respite is a short-term stay to give relief to long-term caregivers by providing care for those with special medical needs.
Anyone with a medical need and a doctor’s order can qualify for a respite stay. Stays are coordinated prior to a patient’s arrival to ensure continuity of care. Guests must have a completed physical and medical history from his or her doctor prior to admission. Guests may also bring medications from home.
The respite room has a private bathroom and includes cable TV and telephone service. Meals, 24 hour nursing care, housekeeping, laundry service, nutritional counseling and access to RiverLedge activities and events are included in the respite stay.
