GOUVERNEUR — Barry L. Stone of Grove Street was charged after failing to register with the New York State Sex Offender Registry, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Stone allegedly failed to register a Facebook page and his motor vehicle with the state sex offender registry in the time required.
The charge is a felony.
Stone was arraigned in Gouverneur court and held on without bail at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, deputies said.
The incident took place Dec. 4, officers said.
