The American Red Cross of Northern New York has scheduled blood drives in Canton, Norfolk, Ogdensburg and Lawrenceville this month.
All donors will receive a coupon for a free carton of Friendly’s Ice Cream, not including tax.
The drives are:
• Thursday, July 21, SUNY Canton, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Monday, July 25, Norfolk American Legion, 2 High St., 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 26, Ogdensburg Knights of Columbus, 721 Hasbrouck, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday, July 30, Lawrenceville Fire Department, 1081 Cty. Rt. 54, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
To make an appointment to donate blood, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or log onto redcrossblood.org.
They encourage eligible and new blood donors to give blood. Blood donors are needed every day to ensure an adequate blood supply for patients in need.
