OGDENSBURG — Ogdensburg firefighters responded to a fire at 1215 Greene Street at 3:43 p.m. on Tuesday.
Volunteers from the North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross provided immediate emergency aid to three people.
A person that answered the phone at the fire station said more information would be provided at a later time when a report was ready.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for necessities such as shelter, food and clothing to the three adults.
Volunteers also offered emotional support and comfort kits containing personal care items. In the coming days, Red Cross staff and volunteers will remain available to help those affected by the fire as they navigate the road to recovery.
