CANTON — One person was provided emergency relief by the American Red Cross following a a fire on Sunday morning on County Route 16.
Volunteers from the North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross say they provided immediate emergency aid.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for food and clothing to two adults.
Volunteers also supplied comfort kits containing personal care items.
In the coming days, Red Cross staff and volunteers will remain available to help those affected by the fire as they navigate the road to recovery.
Further details about the fire were not made available.
