HERMON — Volunteers from the North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross provided immediate emergency aid to three people after a fire early Saturday morning on Pyrites-Russell Road in Hermon.

The Red Cross provided financial assistance for necessities such as food and clothing to three adults. Volunteers also offered emotional support and comfort kits containing personal care items.
