OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg will hold public hearings for two property sales June 25 at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The properties are located at on Ford and Ogden streets.
The Ford Street lot is located at 1130 and is 55 feet by 120 feet. It is situated in a residential/business zoning district. A minimum bid has been set at $4,000.
The Ogden Street lot is located at 902-904 and .3 acre. It located in the mobile home zoning district. A minimum bid has been set at $4,500.
Ogdensburg residents will have a chance to comment on the proposed sales at the public hearing.
Ogdensburg has been working to sell excess city-owned properties so they can generate tax revenue. In Ogdensburg, only 41 percent of the city’s total assessed property value is taxable.
