POTSDAM -- Youth bowlers Ann Shatraw and Steven Hazelton represented Potsdam in the recent USBC Youth Championships in Syracuse. This is the third consecutive year the duo made it to the state finals.
Shatraw and Hazelton’s team finished 12th out of 72 of New York State’s best youth teams.
The pair thanked the Potsdam community for their support and those who were able to donate to help get them to the tournament.
The duo qualified to compete in the week long North Pointe Junior Gold National Championships and will be traveling to Buffalo to compete in July.
