POTSDAM -- A Potsdam woman was jailed on $10,000 cash bail after she allegedly broke into another person's home and attacked the resident, according to Potsdam Police.
Rebecca L. Kelly, 38, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Potsdam Police responded to a home invasion at 8:34 p.m. Sunday at 150 Market Street.
Police say Kelly damaged a window screen and entered the apartment through the window. Once inside the apartment, Kelly attacked the resident, striking her multiple times, police said.
While taking Kelly into custody, she resisted arrest and kicked an officer, police said.
Kelly was then transported back to the police station and was jailed on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond, police said.
