POTSDAM – As Potsdam’s summer recreation program winds down to the end on Friday, Aug. 3, the Potsdam Recreation Department has set a Family Fun Night Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Pine Street Arena.
Starting at 6 p.m. the celebration will include carnival games, face painting, and other special activities like “touch-a-truck,” provided by some special guests.
“The Recreation Department is extremely fortunate to have so many outstanding community members and organizations support the efforts of Recreation and will use this Family Fun Night to show our support and gratification,” said Recreation Director Trey Smutz.
In addition, on Monday, Aug. 6, the Recreation Department will be taking its annual field trip to Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge.
Cost is $40 per person, and participants are encouraged to pack a lunch and bring some spending money.
The bus will depart from Pine Street Arena at 7:30 a.m. and return at 8:30 p.m.
To register for the trip, call 315-265-4030 or check out Potsdam Recreation’s Facebook page for more information.
