POTSDAM -- Potsdam police are asking the driver of a van that struck a female near the Clarkson University campus to contact them.
Potsdam Rescue Squad was requested and a patrol was dispatched to a call at the Clarkson University Educational Resources Center for a female who was struck by a gray van at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday as she was crossing Maple Street, according to police.
The patrol said the driver of the van stopped and asked the female if she was okay, and after she said she was, continued on.
The Potsdam Police Department is asking the driver of the van to contact the police department about this incident.
