Potsdam police charge robbery victim with drug possession after 911 call brings officers to scene of alleged drug deal

POTSDAM – Potsdam Police have charged the victim of a recent robbery with possessing pot, mushrooms, acid and other drugs.

Lucas R. Yennie, 19 of Sag Harbor was charged with attempted criminal sale of marijuana, criminal possession of marijuana, sixth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: hallucinogens with intent to sell and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police charged Yennie after responding to a 911 call for an armed robbery which was on-going at his residence at 206 Main Street, Collegiate Village in Potsdam.

Yennie was the victim of the robbery which occurred during a drug transaction, according to Potsdam police.

Police say Yennie had planned to sell the suspect two pounds of marijuana.

Police executed a search warrant at the scene and discovered three pounds of marijuana, 93 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 26 doses of LSD and two doses of methylin.
