POTSDAM -- Jane Wang, ninth grade student at Potsdam Central, received a campership from the SLC American Association of University Women's Open Windows for Girls program to attend Horizons I.
In the photo, Jane shows her brother Leo and Faye W. White a garter snake from the Stomp in the Swamp project at Clarkson Horizons.
The Open Windows for Girls program provides camperships for St. Lawrence county girls to attend summer enrichment programs.
Horizons is a residential, one-week program that connects talented 7th and 8th grade girls to the joy and excitement of math, science and engineering through hands-on, experiential activities and team projects.
