POTSDAM – Harvey M. Griffin, 26, of Potsdam was charged by municipal police after their investigation of a two-car accident on Pine Street Nov. 26 at around 7:41 p.m.
Police said Griffin was at fault in the accident due to operating his vehicle at an unreasonable speed. During the investigation of the incident, police found that Griffin was driving while only holding a state driver’s permit without a supervising driver in his vehicle.
He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speed not reasonable and prudent.
Griffin was ticketed, released and is scheduled to appear in town court Dec. 13 at 10 a.m.
