WADDINGTON -- A Potsdam man is charged with three counts of forgery after he allegedly cashed checks that were stolen from a local business.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies charged Michael B. Middlemiss, 23, of Potsdam, with three counts of third-degree possession of a forged instrument after he reportedly cashed three checks worth $1,750 that were allegedly stolen by Kayla O'Brien in June.
Deputies say Middlemiss was arraigned and released to his mother, but is scheduled to reappear in Waddington Court.
