POTSDAM – A Potsdam man has been charged with grand larceny fourth degree for allegedly stealing $1,838 in cash from a local business office where he was employed as a custodian.
Russell P Snyder Jr., 50, was arrested by Potsdam Police for the alleged theft that police said occurred after-hours.
Police were called to the scene the following morning for what appeared to be and was reported as a break-in or burglary scene.
Investigators were able to determine that the crime scene had been staged to look like a break in, police said.
