POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged Tuesday with engaging in sexual contact with an adolescent victim, according to Potsdam police.
James E. Matteson, 21, was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, officers said.
He was reportedly arrested at 1:17 p.m. at the Potsdam Police Department.
Matteson was released under the supervision of probation with tickets returnable to court at a later date, officers said.
